Significant Athletic Achievements Post SHS Graduation (College, Professional, etc.) :
This was the first time since 1994 that a public school had won the Division I State Championship and the first in the history of Simsbury.
Also this was the first time since 1982-83 when Enfield won, that a team north of Hamden has won the Division I State
Championship. This is still true today.
