Doug Cramphin was a participant on numerous baseball and football conference championship teams from 1967-1970. He was named to all conference baseball and football teams in 1967, 1968, 1969, and 1970. In addition, he was named to the all-state football team in 1969. He is the current Simsbury High School touchdown passing and quarterback touchdown rushing record holder. Doug was inducted into the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame as a scholar/athlete in 1969. He continued his baseball and football participation at Middlebury College in Vermont, culminating in an undefeated football season, the first in Middlebury history in 1973. In addition, he was named baseball co-captain in 1974.
