Lynn Rosenberry Lull
1979

Lynn Rosenberry Lull, a gymnast, excelled at Simsbury High School.  During her four years at SHS Lynn was a two-time State Champion in the Individual All-Around.  She finished in fourth and second place the other two years.  She was also named a high school All-American.  Lynn’s teams also excelled as they won four conference championships, three state titles, and ended up in second place once. The town of Simsbury recognized Lynn twice with resolutions of congratulations - one for her personal accomplishments and one for her team accomplishments.  Lynn continued her excellence as she went on to compete at The College of William and Mary as a scholarship athlete.  There she was captain of her college team that went on to win an NAIA national championship and she earned All-American Honors in Bars and Beams.  She and her teammates were inducted into William & Mary’s Athletic Hall of Fame and she was the first recipient of the Connecticut Gymnastics Hall of Fame award. 

Lynn and her husband, Ed, have been married for 34 years and currently live in Fairfax, Virginia. They have three grown daughters, Hannah, Sammy, and Cali, a son-in-law, Mike, and a new granddaughter.  Lynn is currently in her 10th year with Fairfax County Public Schools.
