"The Girls' Varsity Soccer Team had an extremely successful season in 1987. The team consisted of sixteen seniors, six juniors and four sophomores. The team was led by tri-captains Yvone Gwinnell, Tracy Hagan and Kristen Supko. During the regular season, the team finished 16-0-0 with only one goal scored on them. In the state tournament they beat out Wilton 2-1 thus becoming the State Champions with a record of 20-0-0.
